TG HOSPITALITY, LLC ANNOUNCES TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF RESTAURANT AND EVENT FACILITIES AT BELLAIR GOLF CLUB
TG Hospitality, LLC announced today that IronWorks Restaurant will close on February 24, 2020 after nearly 25 years in the BellAir community. The restaurant’s closure will now be incorporated into the first phase of a wide-scale remodeling project that will see updates to BellAir’s golf course, restaurant, event facilities, and Golf Shop.
The closure comes following an extensive review of the agreement between IronWorks Restaurant and BellAir Golf Club’s previous ownership and an audit of the restaurant’s operations by TG Hospitality, LLC. The company acquired BellAir Golf Club after assuming management responsibilities for the course in August, 2019. “While it is unfortunate to see the long-time partnership between IronWorks Restaurant and BellAir Golf Club come to an end, the management team is very optimistic about the future of the club, which has been the heart of the BellAir community since 1972. We’re looking ahead, as we invest in the future of this property and create a destination that will be enjoyed by golfers, families and our neighbors in the community for generations to come,” said David Guzmán, president of TG Hospitality, LLC.
“We want to thank IronWorks Resaturant for their partnership and the entire BellAir community for their patronage over the last 25 years,” said Guzmán.
The company expects the restaurant and event facilities at BellAir Golf Club to reopen in winter of 2020. Both facilities will undergo major renovations and equipment upgrades designed to modernize the spaces and accommodate for a wider range of event uses.
“We want BellAir Golf Club to be an inviting space where our neighbors from the surrounding community can enjoy the beautiful Arizona weather--whether they’re playing a round of golf, attending a special event or sitting down for a delicious meal,” said Brent Goss, director of operations for TG Hospitality, LLC. “We believe the plans that have been developed for the course and the amenities on site will do just that,” he said.
Additional updates about the remodeling project will be available on BellAir Golf Club’s website throughout 2020.
